The 2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake edition is expected to be displayed at this year’s Beijing Auto Show.
The concept unveiled by Mercedes at the Geneva Motor Show, and named F800 Style, proves to be an important page in the German automaker’s history. After talking about the influences that the concept will have on future small or compact class models and that it anticipates the new generation of the CLS model, it seems that the concept will also influence another Mercedes product.
The CLS shooting brake is expected in 2012 and the car is said to be designed as more of a wagon than a real shooting brake.
The car will have a four doors and a rear cargo area, something that fits the description of a wagon or an estate more than a typical shooting brake, which normally has two doors, an extended rear and is basically a coupe based car.
