AMG prepares the baby AMG

After we just announced that Mercedes AMG division wants’ a baby sporty car, today, we have more information’s. AMG will create an indirect successor to the classic 190E 2.5 Evolution II.
With such car, AMG is trying to compete against the forthcoming Audi RS3 and BMW M1.
Most probably the car will be powered by a new 3.5 liter V6 – same engine that will power the CLS 350. Using a pressure wave supercharger, tbe engine will produce about 400hp. Mercedes insiders have confirmed to Autocar that four-wheel drive will be available as an option on selected models.
